Instructions for Fairphone

If Android 13 is installed on the Fairphone device
Check the following settings if there are problems that measurement is not (correct):

1. Go to Phone settings > Location > turn Use location ON.
2. Go to Phone settings > Location > Location Services > Google Location Accuracy > turn Improves location accuracy ON.
3. Go to Phone settings > Apps > Show all apps > choose our app > Permissions:
   – Physical activity > choose “Allow”
   – Location > choose ‘Always allow’ and turn ON Use exact location
4. Go to Phone settings > Apps > Show all apps > choose our app:
   – Mobile data and WiFi > turn Background data ON
   – Battery usage for app > Select “Unlimited”
5. Go to Phone settings > Battery > Battery saver > turn Use battery saver OFF.

If Android 11 is installed on the Fairphone device
Check the following settings if there are problems that measurement is not (correct):

1. Go to Phone settings > Location:
   – turn Use location ON
   – go to Advanced > Google Location Accuracy > turn ON Improve Location Accuracy
2. Go to Phone settings > Apps & notifications > tap “Advanced” at the bottom > choose Special app access > select Battery optimization > tap the Not optimized button > choose “All Apps” > choose our app > choose “Don’t optimize”.
3. Go to Quick settings > Battery > turn Battery saver OFF.
