Iron Roots was founded in 2017 by friends who were tired of the fact that more than 90% of all sportswear is made of plastic.
When they started looking for alternatives, we couldn’t find any, so they decided to take matters into their own hands. By combining design, functionality and durability, they strive to create the best sportswear.
Iron Roots make sportswear from fabrics that do not release microplastics. This means that no small pieces of polluting plastic are released with every wash.
They also save CO2 emissions. Some of their sportswear even saves more than 60% CO2 during production compared to polyester clothing.
