Fynch Mobility has obtained the ISO/IEC 27001 certification. This means that your personal data is now guaranteed to be safe with us, and that the company meets the most recent standards for information management.
What does the ISO-27001 certificate mean?
The ISO/IEC 27001 certificate is proof that an organization adheres to an international standard for secure information management. This standard was created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in 2005.
The ISO/IEC 27001 standard explains how to set up, maintain and improve a management system for the secure management of information. This helps organizations to handle data more securely.
How the certification process went for us
We spent about a year building an information security management system (ISMS) from scratch, in which all processes in the company were examined.
We did this under the guidance of Certification Advice Netherlands. After a successful internal audit, we have successfully completed the phase 1 and phase 2 audits by Brand Compliance and we have received the certification.
Why we chose to start this certification process
An ISO-27001 certification goes much further than just information management; setting up the ISMS also means improving and professionalizing your business processes (which is certainly very important for a growing company) and implementing a process of continuous improvement.
Since we work with personal data, it is also very important for us to be able to guarantee good information security. The certification confirms that we are on the right track and also helps us to stay focused on improvements.
