Medior/Senior Flutter Engineer

Fynch Mobility is looking for a Medior/Senior Flutter Engineer to join our growing team. Our company, located in Utrecht, has a clear mission: to stimulate people to make more sustainable travel choices. How we do this? By facilitating registration, insights and rewards through our software. We work closely with companies and other organizations and provide them with the tools to change behavior.

Your role

As a Flutter Engineer, you are helping us to transform our apps into a single code base. In your role, you are at the forefront of our venture into Flutter. You will work together with our existing Apps Team to define and carry out the work.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Building Flutter frontend applications from scratch, incorporating the current backend and functionalities
• Maintaining existing code
• Working together with the Apps Team to streamline the applications and drive the transition to a Flutter platform
• Identify improvements and bugs in the software as a whole (so not just your expertise)
• Actively participate in daily standups, refinement sessions, sprint reviews and sprint retrospective sessions
• The principles of Privacy by Design are applied in all technical work
• Peer reviewing and testing together with the rest of the team following our testing procedure
• Adhere to collective Definition of Done for completing tasks
• Follow all instructions, procedures and policies regarding how data is secured
• Participate in refining functional, technical and UI/UX designs, wherein the added value and experience for customers and users is leading

About you

• You have a minimum 3-5 years of previous Flutter experience
• You have a deep understanding of the Flutter framework and Dart programming language, including a solid grasp of widgets, state management (Provider, BLoC, Riverpod), navigation and platform-specific features
• You have experience with writing API clients and/or repositories
• You have expertise in writing unit tests using Flutter’s testing framework and UI tests using tools like Flutter Driver
• You have a strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities and principles in web and mobile apps
• You have knowledge of common CI/CD and app distribution principles
• You are able to work in English
• Experience with using Flutter with a web target is a plus
• You are allowed to work in the Netherlands without a visa
