More than just a CO2 registration solution
In addition to CO2 registration, the solution proved to have broader capabilities, allowing us to consolidate our entire mobility policy into a single tool and implement extensive efficiency measures. This means we now have all mobility allowances, including the work-from-home allowance, in one system and can upload a compensation report to our payroll with a single click on a monthly basis
Business Case
By using Fynch, we were able to phase out a self-developed app for travel expenses and commuting allowances, while also relieving the Finance department by removing mileage claims from the expense system. Furthermore, once implemented, Fynch offers opportunities to encourage sustainable mobility choices, which is our phase 2.
Collaborative Approach
Unfortunately, the live tracking module was a step too far for us due to privacy considerations. In response, Fynch developed a version for us without these features. SHV Energy is the first company to use Fynch without live tracking.
User-Friendly
We have been working with the tool since November 1, 2024, to our full satisfaction. Naturally, people need time to adjust, and we are still encountering a few minor issues due to the deactivation of live tracking, but these are being well addressed by Fynch1. As of last month, we have achieved 100% user adoption, which is excellent, and our employees find it to be an easy-to-use tool.
Future Outlook
We look forward to the announced integration with the NS Business Card, as this will allow us to offer our employees an additional sustainable choice. We hope that our employees will gain insight into the impact of their own business mobility and that we can make them aware of the choices they have in this regard in the future.
