Fynch Mobility is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team. Our company, located in Utrecht, has a clear mission: to stimulate people to make more sustainable travel choices. How we do this? By facilitating registration, insights and rewards through our software. We work closely with companies and other organizations and provide them with the tools to change behavior.

Your role

As Technical Support Engineer, you are responsible for streamlining the processes between development, support, and sales. You carry out technical tasks related to implementations of new customers or any changes in license configuration, provide second-line technical support to our users and are part of the testing team. You play a central role in the Fynch team and work together with people in different positions.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Create and configure new customer licenses
  • Process any changes in existing licenses in the SQL database
  • Debug data (quality) issues in SQL databases
  • Work together with the support team to solve customer and user issues in a timely manner (mainly second line, first line when necessary)
  • Participate in testing of the (mobile) apps and/or backend
  • Identify opportunities to improve the processes you are involved in and proactively bring them to the attention of the rest of the team

About you

  • You have some relevant education or work experience with database work, testing, technical support and/or technical implementations
  • You are detail oriented and precise
  • You have experience in working with databases and/or SQL or are eager to learn and develop your skills
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch
  • You are proactive and are able to effectively organize your own work
  • Basic knowledge of/experience with Python is not required but considered a plus
